IntroductionThis eReferral form is for young people aged 13 – 17 years (and those aged 18 years who are in education).The service is for young people who live in and around the Safe Haven’s operational area of Gateshead and Newcastle, who are experiencing mental health distress, and are able to maintain their own safety (or an appropriate adult is available to support them in maintaining their own safety).It is not for young people who have an urgent or immediate clinical need (e.g. the need for a psychological assessment or medical support).This service is not an alternative to any statutory crisis services i.e. Crisis Team, Police A&E.Once the eReferral has been received we will get in touch to arrange an appointment.
